We had a great weekend! Friday evening we participated in our town's downtown trick-or-treat where businesses downtown hand out candy to trick-or-treaters. (the main road is blocked off for a couple of blocks for 2 hours for the event). It was fun and the kids got to show off their costumes. M was a purple unicorn - with wings - and E was a skeleton. I will post pics when I get more time. Saturday morning we went and set up the tunnel for the Fall Family Festival at my aunt and uncle's. This was the easiest set up yet - it went very smoothly (and yet took from 9:30 until 4:00, including breaks of course). We had a ton of fun running around on the trail searching for and following clues in a seek and find hunt. After it got dark we went through the trail - which looked great, and no ghouls to worry about this time :) Lots of good food , candy, and the best family for company. Thank you!! And perfect weather, if I do say so myself. I love holloween - mind you, halloween day we spent at home...burying my dead rat, and cleaning house :(

She was discounted for us (and b/c she is older now, I think) and much more affordable - and so we brought her home, and her name is Sugar. Sug (shoog) for short. She is very sweet and calm, and listens really well. She is a yellow lab, and for all of you who have read the book or watched the movie - yes, we bought the "clearance puppy"! And actually we stopped at Blockbuster to return some movies and a big Marley & Me poster was in the window and M said :"Is that a picture of Sugar?" - I hope not! Saturday was the last 50 cen...
