Big girl bed

We finally got my phone switched over...Thanks to ERIN! She called the people and got everything taken care of for me. And Thanks to Aunt Nancy for the phone (it's her old one). I get lucky with hand-me-downs!! Also, Saturday was M's first day in her "big-girl bed". We finally bought a rail for the bed so she won't fall out, and on Saturday she got to sleep in it. She was really excited and did excellent! she went right to sleep. Unforturnately nap-time on Sunday did not go so well. Probably mostly because naptime doesn't go that well in general. She wouldn't stay in bed, and kept yelling to get up. After about an hour, probably, I went in and gave her a book to keep her in bed, thinking she was tired enough to fall asleep with it. I should have known better - my baby loves books. So, after 30 minutes of quiet, I went to check on her and she was still awake and reading her book. I told her we would finish is and she had to go to sleep - she sa
These are our pictures from camping! M had tons of fun...most of the time she was filthy...of course, so were we. This might be the picture of when J took our phone fishing with him. Yes, that ruined our phone...mostly. And he didn't notice that M had taken off her diaper until I was taking pictures of them fishing. We had lots of fun, beautiful sunsets, and many bugs...but it was great. we had smores of course, which M had a good time eating...hers is lacking chocolate, purely so I didn't have to clean it up. Don't worry, I shared some of mine with her. We ate tin-foil dinners, and hot dog dinner; J made pancakes and eggs for breakfast one morning...I've never had that good of a breakfast camping before. The second morning we just had poptarts...but they were good too!

Labor Day Weekend

We finally got the opportunity to go camping! We've been wanting to for a while, but weren't actually capable of pulling it off...until this weekend. We went to Woodson Lake (I think) out by Toronto. It was a nice lake, and was not nearly as busy as I'm sure El Dorado Lake was. This was M's first time camping and she seemed to have a blast. She really enjoyed fishing with dad (I have cute pics I will share when I can) and swimming. J finally got to see M swimming...He hasn't seen her swim on her own with her floaties, so it was exciting. She was also keeping busy catching bugs...and incidently squishing them...as well as playing with the worms dad fished with. The first night was rough at bed time. I had to go lay down with her in the tent, but she was still too wound up to sleep. She crawled all over me, rolled all over the bed, and continued playing well into the night after J came to bed. And then all through the night, even though she was asleep, she
