Rice Family

Awhile ago...as in a couple of years ago, I made Erin a birthday (or maybe it was christmas) gift. I have not sent it to her yet, it's actually on a shelf in my kitchen. I wrote poetry for awhile, and once gave a book of it to Emily for Christmas, then Erin said she wanted one. Instead I made her a painted tile she could hang with one of my poems on it. I even used colors she supposedly had in her house, silver and blue. Anyway, maybe I will send it to her for her birthday, which is what got me thinking about it. So, in case I never send it, Erin, this is what it says: Question the world, You will get no answers. Question yourself and You will be left in despair. Forget the questions, find the answers. Lose yourself in Life and you will find paradise.

hello. I'm feeling irritable today. Not a good start when watching three babies...all of which are a little ornery (sp?)... Oh well. that's life. I'm going to visit my mom and megan's family for spring break! YAY! Same time Emily is going to Alaska I guess. I have homework I realllllyyy really don't want to do. I need a pick me up. I need to do something fun, not just alll this regular everyday madness...my life has gotten so monotonous, despite being crazy, that I'm getting a little twitchy. I need friends...and hobbies...and time to do both. My daughter is yelling at me right now cuz she is stuck under a chair....she got herself there, she can get out right? apparently not. Now Jodi and Charlotte are trying to join her. Should I intervene? Nah. Let's just see what happens.............hmm. more screaming. big surprise. Why? Because even though M can't do it herself, she sure does not want help; from anybody...much less charlotte. :) I

M and J. This picture was taken just after M's nap. This is cubby bear and hippillow (he's the pink one. He's a hippo/pillow/blanket. M loves him...she got hime from great-grandma gauthier for christmas.) She makes us kiss, hug and say goodnight to both, and "rog" (my frog she sleeps with) everynight when we lay her in bed. She will say "bear" and hold him up, then when you're done kissing bear she says "too" (she can say hippillow) and holds up hippillow, and when you're done, she points to the giant frog and says "rog" and then you're done. Of course you have to kiss her too.

Hi. I just want my sisters to know that I LOVE THEM! I can't wait for spring...I love spring. We keep getting nice weather days here and then snow and back again....I like the nice days, and the snow melts in a day or two. I wish Emily would blog...I have no idea what she's doing. I don't talk to her often enough...or anyone for that matter. Valentine's day tomorrow...J and I are thinking about going out...Justine is going to babysit for us if we do. But we don't know what we want to do. ... gotta go. The girls seem to be killing eachother! :)

M loves to walk with her head between my legs...backwards or forward, it doesn't matter to her. this tu-tu was given to us by a friend (who's sister made it for a different little girl, but M liked it and the other girl didn't) . M loves it and wants to wear it all the time. I just love this littler girl!

so, I wrote a nice long blog, actually. But then the internet disconnected and I lost it. this is the shortened version: I have a lot of school work. Life has gotten complicated since childhood. I miss my family. ... and it ended like this: "always look on the briiiight siiiiide of life. doo doo, doo doo, doo do dood do dood do."

Today we celebrated Charlotte's first birthday with Jessica and her family! She's adorable and a little bit bigger...only a little bit. Now we're chillin at grandma gauthier's house. M is starting to count...we've been counting to her a lot, and sometimes she repeats the numbers, but just recently she started saying 2 after we say one and 6 after we say 5 and so on....only in the right order. I just finished my math quiz and now I'm doing this (obviously). I have nothing more to say, except have a great day!!

AS you all know, I babysit cousin Jessica's two girls so she can go to school. Wellllll.....since they are together so often when they're sick we get sick and when we get sick they get sick. It was there turn this time...I think...M got a cold and then they did, then once everyone was better...Jodi got a fever, they went to the doctor, Jodi had a double ear infection and charlotte had one ear infected. Then a couple days later it hit M (right over the weekend of course). She got a fever on Thursday night and wouldn't sleep more than an hour...I was up with her every time and eventually sent J to the couch so M and I could be awake, or asleep, without interrupting him so he could actually work in the morning. Then she had a fever throught the weekend, but we didn't want to take her to the doctor cuz it would be and ER visit and her fever only got to 102 (which is miserable enough). So, Monday afternoon I took her in and the doctor confirms it: a double ear infecti
