Meal Menu planning...bleh

I added a new link to the blogs I love. I have searched for a resource to help with my menu planning and grocery shopping because my menu gets...well mundane. Not to mention the fact I never thought I would be a person to do menu plans and grocery lists, done listed by the aisle/section. But, turns out it makes grocery shopping a lot easier. Also, it makes putting away the groceries easier once you get home...your cart is practically organized by section and so it is bagged the same, and once you are home it comes out of the sacks together and go in the same places. Convenient, I know...who'da thunk it? (Megan, that's who. You can't tell me that's not who popped into your mind!) Anyhow...I stumbled upon Eat at Home . Again, I've searched for sites like this but a lot of the good ones charge you a fee to use them. This one is free...so far as I can tell! She provides you with a meal menu consisting of (if I remember right) 2 crockpot meals for busy days, 1

update

Well, J is still in Kansas, but almost done and soon to be with me in Colorado! My job is going well, despite my first week of craziness (particularly my first monday). I love the people I work with; they are hilarious and light-hearted, easy-going and helpful. Every single one of them have been very welcoming. The girl I will be covering for maternity leave has not had her baby yet...any day now! I am finally starting to feel confident enough in my abilities that I will be okay with her leaving! M and E have a babysitter that they go to while I am at work, and she is GREAT. Very glad I found her. M will be starting Kindergarten this August...I believe the 17th or 19th or some such...I will have to check! We are very excited.... anyway...that's all for now.

wanted to share this

I was going through my picture file, and came across this that Aunt N gave me: Isn't she cute? Look familiar? That's my grandma (with her big brother)....who looks surprisingly like M.

oh geez

Whew....I forgot what it was to have to work all day. I actually missed my kids, and miss them again for tomorrow! It was a LONG day. I got up at 6:15 and left home about an hour later...then the mumbo jumbo overflowed my brain for 8 hours! HOLY SMOKES that was a lot to take in - it literally gave me a headache....and I'm pretty sure I haven't retained more than how to operate the phone! I got done at 5 at which time I drove home in a bunch of traffic, pretty much all the way home, in time to start cooking dinner. Stinkin commuters! bleh. ask me how I am after tomorrow...I hope stuff starts making more sense then! Now I need to find a babysitter.

Ready...set..go!

I got a job! Office Assistant to cover a maternity leave, and then customer service - And it has SO much potential! I'm really excited. I had an interview this morning: yesterday I got a call that said to come anytime between 9am and 3pm tomorrow (which is now today) or Monday for a 10-15 minute interview. I decided to make a somewhat early appearance for good impression, and I was the second interview of the day. Bob (my new boss) interviewed me, and in less than 10 minutes was offering me the job. He was very flattering! He told me he knew he liked me 10 seconds after meeting me, and that they hire hearts, not skills or just people, but hearts and he thinks I have it! :::aw, gosh::: They had to turn away the next couple interviews, and were preparing to call all the other potentials to tell them the position is filled! I really like him, and quickly learned that I liked the other employees as well after a quick tour. Great pay, and great benefits - more than I was even hoping for
