songs that make me love life.

JACK JOHNSON: we got everything We need right here And everything we need is enough. Just so easy When the whole world fits inside of your arms, Don't really need to pay attention to the alarm. DARRIUS RUCKER: Cause I got a roof over my head, The woman I love layin' in my bed. And it's alright, alright. I got shoes under my feet, Forever in the eyes staring back at me; And it's alright, alright. Yeah, I got all I need, And it's alright by me. When I lay down at night I thank the lord above For giving me everything I ever could dream of. LONESTAR: And the most beautiful girl holding both of them. And the view I love the mostIs my front porch looking in. JOE NICHOLS: Unsinkable ships, sinkUnbreakable walls, break. Sometimes the things you think would never happen, Happens just like that. Unbendable steel, bends, If the fury of the wind is unstoppable...I've learned to never underestimate The impossible CHAD BROCK: I'm still standing where I always stood, Right

lazy momma

After cleaning up the dishes from dinner I plopped my butt into a chair to relax. M walked over to me, stood right in front of my face and said: "Don't sit down mom. No, don't sit. Come on get up." "Why?" asks I, and she responds: "Because we gotta do stuff. We gotta get up. Because...Captain Hook wouldn't sit down..." ok. fair argument. :) (and, no, we have not recently watched Peter Pan, but we were recently talking about how much M looks like Tinker Bell.)

LOVE THEM

gettin' some motor skills

This is E's first time clapping! YAY!

mmmm. Is that bug spray I smell??

I have a small love of Bath and Body Works. But, it is small, and limited - I loooooove their Aromatherapy Sensuality (Jasmine Vanilla). This has been my favorite scent since...well since my old favorite Moonlight Path. I don't use it every day, but sometimes I just NEED it. It makes me feel good, relaxed....just, well, sensual. So as I have said, J's family was visiting last week. One of the nights of their visit, after I had freshly showered, I felt that I was in desperate need of a dose of Jasmine Vanilla. Afterwards, I went out and joined our guests as we were preparing for bed, and as J and I talked to his mom she said "Did one of you put on some bug spray?" I looked confused for a moment and shook my head no, as J peered at me from the corner of his eye. Then I got it. It was my lotion! I fessed up, which totally made my mother-in-law appologize profusely, and say "Oh no. No. I was thinking that if it was bug spray, it smelled really nice." I smile at

End of the week

This week has been lots of fun. J's mom, step-dad, sister and nephew all came to stay with us for the week. We've had a lot of fun visiting, playing games, and swimming. I'm so glad they came to visit us, aaallll the way from Idaho! We're lucky they had the time and all came! They are leaving in the morning because his step-dad has to work sunday afternoon! Crazy wonderful people. On another note, tomorrow J and I will have been married 3 years. I can hardly believe it's been three years....absolutely wonderful. I have never made a better decision in my life!

HILARIOUS

This morning I was watching the Regis and Kelly show and they had a guest host in place of Regis. The guest host was kinda goofy and Kelly had him do a model walk (b/c he won a beauty pageant when he was 5). So the guy walked around in front of the camera being goofy-sexy, and toward the end of his walk he did the double-hand-gun shooting thing then winked and did the hand-phone and lipped "call me." As he was finishing M turned to me and said "That's just like Jason." Which cracked me up...because now that she mentioned it, he kinda made me think of Jason too. And, of course, the guys name is Jason. Go figure. http://link.brightcove.com/services/player/bcpid18011368001?bclid=31560348001&bctid=30466593001
Here are some pictures...not many, but i can't find my cord to connect my camera to the computer...and most my pics i'm taking from my family who took a lot of pictures. Most of these ones are from M's birthday - that's right, my baby is 3 years old...i still can't soak that in yet.
