dog for dinner

I'm in the kitchen and turn around to see M taking a spoon to Print's head. Me: M, what are you doing? M: Just pretending to eat prints. also, last night: I was talking to J about losing weight, and he comments that his weight fluctuates, which is just "screwy"...a second later M tells dad: "mine is screwy too, dad." awesome.

attn famiy bloggers

I just want to note that a few people I love dearly are seriously slacking on the blogging thing! What could be more important than blogging?? (and don't say birthday stuff, or vacation! patoowie!) :)

Exploration Place

We went to Exploration Place with the Albaugh's and some other friends today, for the first time! It was a lot of fun. We were there from 10:00 until about 3:30. First we got to watch a movie in the dome theatre, which i must say was awesome! It was just a kids show, but it was really neat to watch in that theatre. M got a little scared, b/c in the beginning a shark broke the dome over us! Then we went and looked at mazes, water/sand tables, tornado exhibit, an airplane exhibit, and a castle! We also had a lot of fun in the Tot Spot, which fit M perfectly. It was great, but next time we go we need to bring J so he can enjoy it too! Make a Smilebox slideshow

oh, yeah!

We enjoyed 80 degree weather today! So we went outside and played in water - one of M's favorite past times I think. something else funny - M told J tonight: "Don't torture my dog. She needs to eat." :) Which I found absolutely hilarious. (That would be my fault she says torture the dog). Prints was in her kennel and kenzie had put food in her dish, and J was supposed to let Prints out for M.

Baby torture

Today, I was preparing M's bath, and had E chillin on the floor in the living room - I hear him start to cry and opt to finish what I was doing before I went to get him. A couple minutes later I go into the living room and he has a fistfull of his hair and is pulling on it, which is really making him mad. I felt so bad! This is not his first attempt at pulling out his hair, just probably the longest lasting. He gets his hand up by his head and as soon as he feels hair, his little hand just clamps down, and out of reflex he starts to pull - poor boy. So, after speaking with megan I decided it was time to break down and put mittens on his hands (okay, actually socks, but so what?) and so far it has worked.

Thinking about getting a double stroller

Help me to choose...tandem or side-by-side double stroller. I've been told side-by-side is harder to maneuver, and I kinda like ones like this where the toddler can ride on a seat facing the parent or stand up. But an article I read said otherwise, and voted the side-by-side better, not to mention that they are cheaper.

BTW...

We went to see the doctor yesterday and found out E has gained 1 lb and 1 inch since leaving the hospital. He is in the 90th percentile for his height and weight. Bi g Boy. I'm pretty sure M started off the same way. ............................................................................................................................................................................ Also, we got home last night and as J was opening the door for M she said "Justi is home now?" And it just makes me sad. Stinkin' Justi. (just kidding justine. We still love you!)

Inspired by Erin

..although, I'm pretty sure he has monkey toes, not sausage toes...

family fun

My mom and Erin left me last night! :( It's a total bummer. The day after having guests seems particularly lonely. All the hustle and bustle, and then you're just back to normal life....which can be nice and relaxing, but it makes me lonely...I know I still have 2 kids, but still... I miss them. We had a great week, and got to see lots of family. It was nice to see everyone. I love when we all get together. But, right now my class is starting, so I've got to go.

Snoozin'

Ethan Pic

THis picture is for Emily. She said she wanted a new picture of E, saying that he probably changed a lot. I don't know myself, but here he is last night.

goodbye

My best friend, Justi, has left me. Her mom is really sick (she lives in IDaho) and so Justi has decided to go home and help where she can. She had to quit her job, and school and leave me (and my family of course). She left on Sunday morning and I miss her tons already! She lived/lives with us and so it's weird not having her around. Her part of the house feels very empty. Every one, please keep her in your prayers...she'll be needing them. And while you're at it, pray that she gets to come back here, not stay too long in Idaho ( although I know that would make her family happy it makes me sad...so I'm being a little selfish!).
