Adventures of Sugar

Daily, I share my life with this monster (that, yes, we love), and mostly daily this is what she does, starting at 6:30 a.m.: Whine to be let out Eat...make that- devour, without chewing...breakfast wait in crate for me to wake up clobber children while chasing Prints go outside and gather random junk to the yard, bark, dig holes, etc. back inside, chews toys (hers) into tiny peices for me to pick up terrorize terra (justi's dog) whack everyone and everything with tail make babies cry eat E's cheerios at lunch, off his tray clean up floor from E's cheerios after lunch rest...done resting drag terra (justi's dog) around by the collar open the baby gate with her mouth and let E escape, along with herself lick the wall and attempt to chew on it. potty break nap ...and it's only 3 o clock.... Just kidding.

some days are just days.

nothing doing. nadda. and i'm bored out of my mind. Another day for cleaning, cooking, eating, diaper changing, homework...where's the FUN? I suppose I'll need more money before I attain that goal. E is standing while holding on to furniture now. He can be found doing that more often than sitting or crawling. He is cutting somewhere around four teeth right now, and he is not impressed. He already has his bottom two, and now the top middle two have cut through...and I'm not sure why, but apparently grinding the only four teeth he has is fun for him. EEEK! I HATE that noise. (M does it when she sleeps, and we can hear it over the monitor!) M just keeps getting bigger. And bossier. And smarter...she actuall puts 2 and 2 together now. We were eating breakfast a couple of days ago, and I was sneaking in a cookie with my cereal, and M saw it and said "What's that? A cookie? OK. I will have one when I am done with my cereal, ok mom?" and I say ...

Laundry, anyone?

I have an excess of laundry, so anyone who wants some is welcome to it. I think about a week plus of dirty clothes have created a mountain in my room. And anyone who know me knows I hate laundry and often have a decent pile to deal with, but this is a different story. This is a MOUNTAIN! Our washer broke a couple of weeks ago. We braved it and went to the laundry mat the first week, but that cost $40 and before we did it again we decided it would be better spent being put toward an actualy washer. So today we purchased a new (used) washer - and never in my life have I been so greatful to be able to do laundry! mmmmm - the smell of clean clothes fresh from the dryer. So nice. We initially thought fixing our washer would be cheaper, but after a little research into the problem, just the peice needed to fix it would cost at LEAST $175, not to mention getting someone to get their butt to our house to fix it - so...new washer, which ended up being $75 from a nice old man who repair...
