Here is Ethan! He is wonderful and perfect in every way! And we are so excited to have him home!! And yes, he looks like M! M is so happy to have him and likes to hold him and hold his hand and show him/try to make him play with her toys. If he whimpers she will pet his hand or head and say "I know, I know. It's okay." She's a great big sister! The delivery went well and everyone is good. I'm a little sore, but that will pass. I can't stop staring at him, and him with M, and him with my husband! It's great! Oh, he was born 2/23/2009 and weighed 9 lb 14 oz!! and is 21 inches long. WELCOME HOME ETHAN!!

This is in response to my sister's comment : Did she cry? The answer is YES! I didn't finish the story cuz my blog was getting kinda long last time so here is the finished story: M was really excited to get her ears pierced - all smiles and excited...a little nervous. We told her that it would be owies and that she had to do it twice, and she said ok. She was ready, she knew it was gonna hurt - twice - but she wanted it any way. She sat on J's lap like a trooper, a little nervous of the lady going to pierce her ears. All smiles. The lady takes the piercing gun to M's ear, M holding still and turning her head for her...and pow! She looks over at me, droops her head, her whole face goes upside down, and just melts! She started to cry, but we reminded her that she had to do it again, so she stayed in J's lap and turned her head for the other ear, crying the whole time. Conveniently (for valentines day and all) M has recently discovered...and practiced...that she can make the I love You sign with her hands. It's really great because she's really enthusiastic and excited about it. Spontaneously she walks by with the sign held out and announces "I LOVE YOU, MOM!" and it's great. M got 3 things for Valentines Day. One was a gigantic pink and red catepillar (which she adores), two was a heart balloon with tweety on it, and three is displayed in this picture - guess what it was- okay...it's kinda hard to tell in this picture, but we got her ears pierced! and she is soooo stinkin proud. We've talked about doing it a couple of times, but I though she was too little, plus I totally didn't want to hurt her. She kept telling me she wanted her own though, and so on V day J and I asked her if she wanted her ears pierced, and she said yes. Saturday was Charlotte's 2nd birthday party (and yes, Ethan's due date, but no, no ethan yet.). J, Justi, myself, and M had to go to Target before we went to the party to pick up Charlotte's present (yes, I always put stuff off until the last day...) and we picked out some moon sand b/c I figured charlotte would have a blast with it...maybe not so much Jess...anyway, while we were at Target Justi bought M a new bug set (has net, couple of plastic bugs and a cup with a magnifying glass to see bugs in). She did so because her dog ate M's last bug net, and apparently felt guilty. While we were driving to the lunch, Justi gave M the toy, still wrapped and M started asking what the stuff was: M: what's that? (pointing to the net) me: That's a net for catching bugs! so...no new news yet. Ethan is still kicking around in my stomache. Classes seem to be going well so far, but obviously we just started. umm....I just figured I should post, seeing as how it's been a while. I went to the doctor again, and they say I'm measuring small for being due on the 7th but they are still keeping that date. (Thank goodness...I so do not want to be pregnant for much longer!!) And that's all really...here's a pic of m since I haven't posted one in a while.
